• Working principle and scope of application

Five . Operation and use of the

1. The test piece must ISO R1514 and ISO 2808 Preparation predetermined .

2. Place the test piece on a flat plate with sufficient hardness .

3. The handheld Crosshatch handle , so that the multi-blade cutter plane perpendicular to the test panel .

4. Use uniform pressure to cut smoothly without shaking at a cutting speed of 20-50mm /s .

5. Rotate the test piece by 90 ° and repeat the above operation on the cut cut to form a grid pattern.

6. Use a soft brush to gently reciprocate five times along the two diagonal directions of the grid pattern.

7. The test should be completed in at least three different positions of the test piece. If the results of the test in the three positions are different, the test should be repeated in more than three positions and all the results should be recorded at the same time.

6. Matters needing attention

1. All incisions should penetrate the coating, but it is not easy to cut too deep into the substrate.

2. If the coating is too thick and hard to penetrate the substrate, the test is invalid, but it should be stated in the test report.

3. In special cases, it must be measured with the adhesive tape method. The tape is generally 25mm wide and translucent tape is affixed to the entire scribing board, and then torn off at the smallest angle. The result can be obtained according to the ratio of the peeling area of the paint film surface .

4. The test should be carried out at a temperature of 23°C ± 2°C and a relative humidity of 50%.

Eight . Maintenance and storage

1. After the test , the instrument should be wiped clean and put into the instrument box , as for the dry place .

2. This instrument has a multi-faceted blade for use . When the blade is not sharp, you can unscrew the boat nut , pull out the bolt , and change the blade.
