Instruction:

1. Since it is not possible to exclude pigment particles from remaining between the instrument and the substrate, all mechanical testing methods involve systematic errors, and the measured film thickness is measured to be lower than the actual wet film thickness (at least one average diameter of the pigment particles). 

2. The roller thickness gauge is used to accurately measure the thickness of the wet film coating (paint ink, etc.). When measuring, the measuring wheel with the eccentric rim rolls on the paint film. 

3.The edge of the eccentric wheel has a scale, the gap is gradually increased, the wheel is rolled over the paint during the test, and the contact point of the rim indicates the thickness of the paint film.
